My graduate film and my most ambitious project to date, Lightning In A Bottle tells the tale of an adventurous and courageous young girl on her quest to defy nature itself, armed with only a key, a kite, and an empty bottle.

Although fully animated in Flash, every frame of this two minute short was hand drawn as though on paper. My aim was to tell a heart-warming tale of childhood adventure that would relate to both adults and children alike, with just enough fantasy mixed in to spark the imaginations of those watching and pull them into my character’s world.
